So, last night was a pretty decent night. I started reading the second book in the twilight series. If you haven’t read them, I would strongly suggest doing so! They are appropriate for the tweens and up. If you haven’t heard about the books yet, they are about a vampire “family”, however, this isn’t your typical vampire family. It is not gory, and the vampires do not “feed” on humans. It is a very soft book, and very well written. I am currently through the 2nd book in the series, my 12 year old brought it home from school.
Some friends and I were talking about dreams, and revisiting dreams. Have you ever had the same dream more than once? What about the time span in between? Have you had years between the dreams? I have done that on more than one occasion, sometimes scary dreams, sometimes, seemingly pointless dreams, sometimes, very NICE dreams! Do you think they are just repeats because of what is going on in life? Or is your mind trying to say “hey, pay attention this time, you missed it last time”?
I don’t remember my dreams from last night specifically, but I remember that I was annoyed with KC in them. And when I woke up this morning, I was still annoyed with him. Luckily I realized that, and was doing everything I could to make that feeling stop. It wasn’t his fault that the dream wasn’t a good one, and it wasn’t fair for me to take it out on him. It didn’t help, either, that I woke up with a headache! 🙁
Now, when you are reading a good book, do you find that it affects your dreams? If not always, does there seem to be a relationship as to when they do? Only with steamy romances, or erotic thrillers, or gory scary books?
